Raine Strongquill is a 21-year old professional dancer, choreographer, and performer. Prior to moving to Toronto, Raine considered herself a self-taught dancer. She always loved dancing, but due to certain circumstances she never had the opportunity to train growing up. However, she ran a high school dance program where she created several pieces of choreography and produced a year end showcase three years in a row. At the age of 18 Raine then began attending drop-in classes, which solidified her decision in pursuing a career in dance.
Raine studied dance at Centennial College where she trained in a variety of styles, such as: contemporary, commercial, ballet, jazz, afro, flamenco, acrobatics, etc. She continued teaching as well by doing weekly drop-in classes in the styles of hip hop and jazz funk. Raine has also performed as a back-up dancer in a Shan Fernando music video, “Villain”.
Raine is a determined and passionate individual who wants to share her craft with the world. She is ready to put in the work and eager to continue in the path of pursuing her dreams.
